KCYC Reciprocal Moorage Details for Visiting Yacht Club Members

BOATERS: WELCOME TO THE PORT OF KINGSTON!

KINGSTON COVE YACHT CLUB RECIPROCAL PROCEDURES

The Kingston Cove Yacht Club (KCYC) extends reciprocal moorage privileges to members of bona-fide yacht clubs. Please make sure your club has obtained a reciprocal agreement from KCYC if you expect reciprocal moorage.

RECIPROCAL PROCEDURES:

We have two 50 ft. slips available on a first come, first serve basis located at the foot of the guest dock in the Port of Kingston Marina close by the fuel dock. (Guest slips #5 & #6) See Drawing on Page 101 of the 5th Edition of the BURGEE BOOK.

There is a nominal $4.00 per day utility charge for all boats, all nights, which includes power if desired. This applies to both sail boats and power boats whether using electricity or not. $4.00 is the minimum charge per boat each night.

We offer the first nights moorage charge free (except the $4.00/day charge). Subsequent nights' moorage are charged at 30per foot, for up to three consecutive nights' total stay (plus $4/day charge).

After docking, you must immediately register at the Port Office and show your current reciprocal yacht club membership card.

The Port Office has a list of Yacht Clubs that hold reciprocal privileges with KCYC and will check the list when you show your Club membership card.

If your club is NOT on our reciprocal list, you are welcome to stay for 30per foot and $4 per night utility charge for all three nights, but you must hold a current membership card from a bona fide yacht club. There is no free night for non reciprocal club members.

When you register, you will receive the combination key to the restrooms and laundry facilities.

If you dock after Port business hours, please utilize an after hours yacht club registration envelope found in the dock box next to the reciprocal slips. Do not use the Port registration envelopes. Please deposit registration envelope in the Port LOCK BOX by the restrooms. Do not leave any money in the dock box.

Please make sure you post your registration verification on your dockside window for our Dockmasters inspection. We check each slip daily and a completed registration envelope will make facilitate the process.

Please fly your burgee while docked in our reciprocal moorage.

If your timing is right, we invite you up to our clubhouse to say hello. We are located adjacent to the marina and open on Friday evenings from 6 to 9 for Happy Hour.

Please enjoy your stay in Kingston and if you have any questions or problems during your visit, give me a call at 360-297-2935.

Good Cruising!
