Lorie Bischoff and her husband Chris moved to Kingston from Bainbridge Island 12 years ago. Lorie meet Kingston Cove members and is looking forward to becoming a member of KCYC and getting to know members and being involved in the community. Lorie and Chris currently do not have a boat. However, she and her father are working on restoring a vintage Chris Craft. A creative thinker with a talent for keeping busy Lorie has several small business ventures that include working as artist, jewel designer, antiquities buyer and home styling. In her spare time she enjoys camping, hiking, creative projects, and supporting local artists.
Karl Compton bought a condo in Kingston in 1999. Throughout the years he has observed the Yacht Club activities, Clubhouse and KCYC community activities. Karl served in the Navy and worked in government positions atomic weapons and occupational health. Karl is retired and enjoys music, hiking, movies, art, reading and photography. An active member of the community he is involved with Kingston Parks and Trails, and Open Space Committee (KCAC). A recent widower Karl is looking forward to meeting new people, socializing, participating in community activities and a ride on a sailboat!
