Many of our neighbors in North Kitsap can no longer help themselves. KCYC is organizing a work party to clean up property for a neighbor in Hanvsille on the recommendation of the Kingston Christian Church. They are unable to take care of their property due to age and illness and would be very grateful if we could help.
Bob Britton and Lynn Colton are experienced in property management and will lead the effort. They will bring 2 rototillers (one large, one small), 1 rider mower, 2 regular mowers, 2 weed eaters, 1 DR trimmer, 1 wheel barrow, 1 chainsaw, pruning shears, garbage cans, and rakes.
What we need:
- 8 volunteers;
- Another wheel barrel;
- A few more garbage cans;
- Any of your favorite lawn and garden tools; and
- A photographer to capture the event from beginning to end (that could be supported by an article in the paper—no need to write the article!)
