As a member, you are entitled to a membership badge, identification card, parking sticker and a burgee if you have a boat. You may not have your user name and password for the club web site, https://www.kcyc.org, as I don't see that you've signed on. After sending this email, I'll reset your password which will trigger an email from the web site to you so you change it. Please check your junk mail if you don't see it. Let me know if you have questions.
The membership you have chosen is the yearly option with volunteering. Thank you for your volunteerism. KCYC is a total volunteer organization and depends on Member volunteers to maintain the high standards in programs, events, and operations that have been the tradition of KCYC’s success. 12 hours per year meets these volunteering requirements.
The web site will be very valuable to you. It is the go to place to find the Club's calendar for activities and events, the KCYC Member Directory, sign up and/or volunteer for events, and learn more about the Club. Also, it will allow you to manage any financial transactions with the club including paying for events and prompting you for your membership fee if not already paid. Review these instructions to learn how to login and make a payment: Paying KCYC Dues. Once paid, you will have full access to the club site.
With this access, I urge you to go to Membership Guide and expand the choices to get familiar with the club. Helpful hint when you access the web site: always check in the upper right-hand corner to see that you are signed in.
