Alderbrook is a beautiful resort on the scenic and serene Hood Canal. Boaters and non boaters will find plenty to do.   Boaters are welcome to use all of the resort amenities, yes even room service to your boat. There are several options for RV’s nearby as well as lodging. It is not a far drive so you can also plan to just come for the day. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.  Therefore, while there will be activities for group socializing, but there will also be down time to relax and enjoy in your own way and time. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO:

1. Sign up for a boat slip, book a room or an RV space if you haven’t done so. There is limited space left.
2. Golfers need to register  on the KCYC website for the golf game being planned by Walter on Saturday morning.  Hopefully we can get a group of 16.  Click here to register.
3. Boaters make plans to get to Alderbrook. Most boaters will want to take a couple of days to cruise the Hood Canal, The Cruise Captains are planning to stop in Port Ludlow, then Pleasant Harbor before arriving in Alderbrook on Friday. Pleasant Harbor. You need to make your own reservation at those marinas.
4. Register for the Pizza Party on Friday. and the fleet sponsored taco bar dinner on Sunday.  Must register and pay a registration fee of $15 to lock in a seat at the Pizza party and $5 for the Taco.  Limited to 45 due to limited beach and dock space. 5. Plan what you will bring for group meals. There will be a potluck breakfast Saturday, a potluck appetizer night Saturday and responsibility for either an appetizer (last name A-L) or dessert (last name M-Y) at Sunday’s Taco dinner.  A margarita contest is in the works so think about what you will enter! 6. It is necessary to register separately for the pizza party on Friday $15.00 and/or the taco dinner $5.00 on Sunday. You can sign up for either or both dinners.
7. If you plan to enjoy a spa treatment, or dinner out you will need to get reservations soon as it is a holiday week-end
8. Pray for sunny, warm weather!

Friday

• Arrive and settle
• 5:00 Gather on the fire pit for a victory beer and cruising stories. Bring happy hour snacks
• 6:00  Pizza party on the beach. It is a short walk to Hood Canal as it is basically next door to the resort. The hand made artisan pizza made with high quality ingredients will keep coming out throughout the evening. We will have a wine bar just for us on the beach. Saturday

• 8:30 Potluck breakfast on the float dock
• 10:00 Golf for those signed up with Walter.  Click here to register.
• ALL DAY   Day to take advantage of the beautiful  resort:  pool, spa, hiking trails, geocaching, yoga, fitness center, fire pits.
• 5:00  Social Hour at the fire pit. Bring heavy appetizers to share. Trivia game hosted by Nancy Langwith. 
• 6:00 Dinner as you choose. Choices:  3 Margaritas, Alderbrook restaurants, room service delivered to your boat, bring your own dinner to the fire pit or just eat appetizers and hang out.
  

Sunday

• 8:00 Rolls and Coffee on the float dock
• 11:00 2 mile dinghy trip to Hook and Fork for lunch. Most boaters can take a couple of non-boaters in their dinghy   Will need a couple of drivers to go save tables.
• 5:00.  Gather at the dock for a social time Happy hour with live entertainment by Gary Walker. Fleet hosted taco bar. Margarita contest. Click here to register.
