An evening of lights, laughter, and complimentary chili tasting

As the final boat lights dim and the stage festivities conclude, KCYC invites you to gather for our Post Boat Lighting Celebration. This is a member-hosted feast—chili and cornbread are shared freely as part of the evening’s hospitality.

The bar will open at 5:30 PM (after the Santa's Workshop by Kiwanis is wrapped up)
Dinner begins around 6:30 PM

Fleet Captain will present Boat Decorating Awards during dinner

Members will be serving up their finest chili creations for all to enjoy. All guests will taste every entry and select the winners with their special coin votes.

We especially encourage NEW members to enter—whether your chili is a family classic or a bold new recipe, we’d love to taste it!

All are welcome to join this festive evening for a $10 event contribution—complimentary for those participating in the contest by either making a pot of chili, or two loaves of cornbread.
